Bike wash and motorcycle servicing FAQ

Straight answers about washing, detailing, servicing, booking and care plans. If your question is not here, ask us — we would rather explain than have you guess.

Bike wash & detailing

Yes, when it is done with low pressure and the right technique. We use a wide fan and keep the nozzle well away from bearings, seals, electrical connectors and the instrument cluster. Most of the cleaning is done by the foam and the mitt, not by force.

Every one to two weeks for a daily commuter, and within a couple of days after riding in rain or mud. Dirt that sits on the bike attracts moisture and speeds up corrosion on the chain, fasteners and exhaust.

Yes. Scooters get extra attention around the floorboard and under-seat storage. Electric bikes are washed with extra care around the battery housing, charging port and controller, using hand washing only near those areas.

Polishing removes light swirls, haze and oxidation. Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat or paint need paint repair. We will tell you honestly what polishing can and cannot fix before you book.

Of course. There is a bench by the bay. A Brisk Rinse usually takes around half an hour; a Deep Foam & Chain around an hour.

Servicing & repairs

Commuter bikes, scooters and mid-size motorcycles from all common manufacturers, including fuel-injected models. For large-capacity or rare bikes, call first so we can check parts availability and tooling.

Using the correct specification parts and fluids and keeping a written record is what matters for most warranties. We provide a detailed job sheet with every service. Check your warranty booklet for any condition that requires an authorised dealer.

The grade and specification your manual recommends — viscosity and API/JASO rating. We stock mineral, semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oils from established brands and will explain the difference if you are unsure.

We stop and contact you with an explanation, photo if helpful, and a quote. Work only continues with your approval. If you decline, we note it on the job sheet as a recommendation.

Yes. Workmanship on repairs is covered for three months. Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Keep your job sheet — it is your proof of the work.

Booking & payment

Use the booking form on the contact page or call us. We confirm every booking by phone, usually within working hours on the same day.

Yes. Let us know at least two hours before your slot and there is no charge. Details are in our refund and cancellation policy.

Cash, card and the popular mobile payment services are accepted at the counter. Business customers on a fleet plan can pay by monthly invoice.

For any repair, yes. For standard washes and services, the listed starting price applies unless the bike is larger or heavily soiled, in which case we tell you before starting.

Care plans

A set number of washes and service labour over a fixed term, plus reminders and benefits such as discounts on parts. See the care plans page for the full comparison.

A plan is tied to one bike, not one rider. Anyone can bring that bike in and use the plan visits.

No. Visits must be used within the plan term. We send reminders so you do not lose any.
